Yesterday, we went for a little drive in the late afternoon.
Got into some places we did not plan to visit, and were rewarded by seeing some fascinating wildlife.
It was hot.
It was dry.
It was rocky.

... But still beautiful.

Your area looks identical (down to the deer!) to the area we live in, halfway across the globe in Colorado. The only difference is that our mountains are covered in grass as well.
That is so beautiful.... it's amazing to me how what you see everyday is so foreign and 'strange' (in a good way☺) to me. And what I see everyday would be foreign and strange to you too of course. I loved the picture of the deer... the markings were so lovely. Enjoy your day my dear♥

Reminds me of when I was in Israel in Dec 98... land looked alot like that. Also looks like the southern part of California.
It's all very pretty and I know God created it all, but I'm sooo not a desert person. I need to see green, and lots of it. :)
